Vinyl Banners Questions

  1. How much does a vinyl banner cost?

    • Yes we charge by material square footage. Pricing is the same black and white or fill color, with no restrictions.

    • Yes, absolutely. All of our custom vinyl banners are weatherproof and waterproof. It is important that you use the right material and ensure it is installed properly.
  7. What is the difference between your 13oz and 18 oz vinyl banner?

    • Most common uses are pole banners and over the street banners.
  9. What is a Vinyl Banner?
    • A flexible substrate made of PVC coating wrapped around a scrim core. The interior scrim is what gives it  strength for outdoor use. The material is fantastic for full color printing wit full custom designs.
  10. How long do vinyl banners last?
    • By nature, it is considered a short term substrate. It  is the most cost effective substrate to print  on.  In general they are rated at  12- 18 months if installed properly and depending on how much direct sunlight it gets.  We print all our banners with UV ink to resist color fade., If you have a banner with direct sunlight, if you print at 720 dpi instead of the standard 360dpi, there’s twice as much ink and so therefore it doesn’t fade as quickly. The material MAY last years if cared for and the elements are not harsh. Wind is the biggest enemy of a vinyl banner. With high wind, we recommend mesh banners.
  11. How to clean a Vinyl banner?
    • Mild detergent soap and water. Many chemicals will erode the coating or remove the ink. Never use solvents, glues, or chemicals without testing a small area first. Soap and water is best.

Mesh Banners Questions

  1. What is a mesh banner?
    • Mesh material is a flexible substrate with tiny holes to allow wind pass through. Our standard mesh material is 75/25 (75% printable surface, 25% air pass through). This material is idea for high wind conditions, like stadium and sports banners, and construction fencing. Most of the largest banners you will see on buildings are mesh. We print any size, even huge wall scapes.
  2. How long do mesh banners last?

In general they are rated to last 12-18 months if installed properly and depending on how much direct sunlight it gets.  We print all our mesh banners with UV ink to resist color fade. If you have a mesh banner with direct sunlight, if you print at 720 dpi instead of the standard 360dpi, there’s twice as much ink and so therefore it doesn’t fade as quickly. The material MAY last years if cared for properly.

Feather Flags Questions

  1. What are feather flags called?
    • There are many names: swooper flags, sail signs, flutter flags, giant flags.
  2. How long do feather flags last?
    • These are generally considered short term promotional signs.  They take more sun and wind abuse than any other sign product on the market. To combat the elements we only sell the best premium flag fabrics and UV Inks. Our poles are premium fiberglass poles for optimal flexibility to increase longevity. There are no guarantees on feather flags, but if taken care of, they can last for years. While they can handle normal wind, high winds will shred the material quickly and void the warranty.  Use common sense. If you see higher winds in the forecast, take them inside  until things calm down. Wind is the biggest enemy.
  3. What are the benefits of a custom feather flag?
    • High visibility! Close proximity to the street. Their vertical nature makes them stand out. Easy to rotate to keep your message fresh.
